Flat-topped Mesa on Mars

The top of this mesa on Mars looks unusual to me. The top seems flat and rectangular and other rectangular features appear to be present within the flat rectangular top area. These might be artifacts of the image or the data. If they are not artifacts of the image or the data, they could still be natural features, but they would be very unusual. The final possibility is that they are artificial structures.
